Akemi was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. (Her sweet hometown, Shinjuku) She is currently working as a travel planner/tour guide, interpreter (EN, JP), and personal buyer in Tokyo. 
As a tour guide, she has provided private tours around Tokyo to over 1,000 people from around the globe.
Akemi tailors your trips in a way that maximizes your time in Japan with as much local flavor as possible. She’s specialized in the contemporary side of Tokyo, with knowledge of more local trendy culture such as the Harajuku, Shibuya neighborhood. 
Akemi has experience serving as an interpreter and suggesting optimal places for filmings and interviews. She can make appointments and accompany you to your filming or interview events. She has previously worked with Heritage Auctions, Gamers Global (German game media), and FaZe Clan (ESports team well-known on YouTube).

She is also a personal buyer. She buys high-quality Japanese products such as kitchen goodies, clothes, and accessories for you. Her main customers are from Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Hong-Kong.

Currently, She started introducing Japanese promising young artists in the field of contemporary arts.
